So...not too long ago I opened up this LJ again after being friends only for a couple of years.

It didn't take long for me to realize that just maybe some stuff should still go under friendslock.



For those of you playing the home game, you may remember a particular emailer that spawned much amusement and catch phrases that even my friends who aren't a part of fandom have become familiar with.

She gave us "You no special" and "And your hat!" and other fun things.

Well, apparently she found the post in which I mentioned going to Dallas for Steve's R&R Caravan birthday weekend. Needless to say, she has a few choice opinions about this.

For example: "You no go." and "You make him ugly." Don't ask me, I don't know.

In context, her email, all errors her own:

"Who you are thinking to be now with your ass and falling on your knees begging? Fat no need flying. You pay moneys and no specials. It is not for you. You no go. NO GO! You got hat and jealousy of those he likes. He no like you. He no want your touching or your face. Non like you. You be alone. ALL ALONE! You pay moneys because only you can do it. You no fit there, and you ugly in the face and boobies. You make him ugly all in the places where you go. So no. No. UGLY! You no say boobies to him. Steve never wants to have you, but you hat. Stop going where he is. You no special and you no go."



So there you have it folks, all the fun one can stand from my inbox. And, since this is really the only place you could have learned about my attendance at the R&R weekend, I can assume you can see this too. Let me just say that you have provided me with hours of entertainment and catch phrases that continue to make me laugh. I am very sorry that my very existence offends you, but no, I'm not going to stop going to gigs and enjoying the music that makes me happy just to please you.

Why don't you go find something that makes you happy? Your life will be much more satisfying once you do.

ok, normally I'm a lurking lurker who lurks and wants to comment but doesn't because, y'know, shy and clever things to say only occur to me about 3 days after your posts, but holy crow that was....wow

(also....I thought the purpose of a business like R&RC was that one paid money and thus was able to participate in the event....has someone changed capitalism while I wasn't looking?)

You'll be in Dallas? That's awesome. Someone besides Steve and his manager that I'll sort of know.

And yeah, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment...or maybe I find living behind a wall too restrictive.

I for one love that you are able to some of the travels that you do * we get to see some very lovely pics* I think you are a very lovely person and having not seen you boobies I can't comment, but I have seen you hat. My money is on about 12 times you can use the word boobies in a conversation with Steve. Wish I could be there but I have another commitment in Sept. I need more Booze

Oh my gosh, that's just...sad and funny and ridiculous. What the hell is she talking about? Did you write back to her? I would probably have sent her a picture of my boobs (sorry, boobies!) with my plane ticket sticking out between them and the words 'Oh, me, go, baby, me go!'

I never respond to her. I get messages from her whenever I've been to a gig and post pictures though. They're all just as incoherent.

I've given up trying to figure them out and just post the best ones for all of you to enjoy!

A great time is likely a given. I know the taking of pictures is, but I also know some of them won't be allowed to be shared. I will post the ones I can.
