For a friday

So, yesterday was a wash in the grown up adult working portion of my life.

I emailed my boss at 5am to tell him I wasn't coming in, took migraine meds and crawled into bed. It took both doses I'm allowed to take in a 24 hour period to get past it, then I forced myself into clothing and up to Dublin to get gas at the Safeway, because I needed a full tank and I had gas rewards points worth 40 cents off per gallon...and since I am SERIOUSLY counting pennies this week...and then I met orphan_project at Starbucks.

The good news is, once I empty my bank account of the paycheck just deposited in it, clean out my wallet and trade in my coins, I can pay my rent. The kitties have dry food and canned food, but are low on treats. They may have to go without for a while. I have food enough for the weekend, possibly a little longer. Not healthy food, but food. Hopefully, somewhere in those few days I will find enough money to pick up some more not healthy food.

In other news, I may be taking a week off in August to stay home and write/take day trips for photography.
