Where does the time go?

This week has been a mix of stuff....day-job work, prepping for photography work, researching to try to wring a birthday trip out of the internets, creating a fundraiser to benefit Heifer for my birthday, and helping set up my niece's 18th birthday.



Day job continues to be amazing.

Thanks to a referral, I have an engagement photo shoot this Sunday at a place called Pulgas Water Temple in Redwood City.

Saturday is Kara's 18th birthday. We're celebrating with dinner at my mother's and then we're going ghost hunting at a cemetery in Antioch.

I wanted to get down to Phoenix/Tucson for my birthday, but it is sadly looking undoable....at least right now. If I get folks who want to go to share costs, I may look at it again.

Um...I went ahead and booked it. I will be flying down on Friday, landing in the early afternoon and leaving early Monday morning. Friday night I will be in Phoenix, catching Ryan's band "The Instant Classics" at The Copper Blues. Phoenix area folks,y'all should come out. Saturday I will probably be brunching with friends, then driving down to Tucson, where I will be spending some time with my dad, and with darling_lisa.

Next weekend is LA with darling_lisa and katbcoll and oceanmaris for the Steve Carlson gig at the Hotel Cafe.

Busy, busy, busy.

And let's not forget that in 68 days, I'm headed for England again.



In writing news...apparently Brain wasn't done with killing folks. Currently writing a Leverage fic that is all badfalcon and Brain's fault. I'm hoping after that to run through the fic journal and make a list of all the WIPs I need to finally finish.
