Another Rocking Wednesday....

ravenswordUgh. This low grade, not-migraine, sinus-like headache really, really needs to go away. It has seriously overstayed it's not-welcome.
In other news, work continues to be awesome. The work is right up my alley. Aside from a very loud workplace, I love all of it. I have no words for how much. My current task is re-writing the training manuals. I'm learning a good deal about the product that way.
In writing news, I just finished nearly 10000 words of fic that I expect only two people to be interested in reading. I am working on the sequel to another piece...but with the next few weeks...chances of actually getting any writing done are pretty small.
I am likely going to have my period for the Phoenix weekend, isn't that just special? I've been PMSing since last week and was hoping it would come and go before the travel, but no such luck.
It's Phoenix and it's gonna be stupid amounts of hot. Right now, what I have planned clothing wise are two pairs of capri pants and a pair of shorts with tank tops. I'd go with sandals, but for the amount of standing I'll be doing. I'm thinking that Friday will be a pair of leggings and my long black tank with the sparkly bits on the left shoulder. Probably the zipper hat because it packs well.
Thing is, whatever I wear on the plane is what I'll be wearing for the gig. We're landing at 5:20 and the show starts at 7 (or 7:30), so it's going to be: get the rental car and go to the gig.
For Saturday night, I have an olive green pair of capri pants packed, and a tank that is also shades of olive green and brown. I'm considering my cowboy hat for that, but I'd need to wear it on Friday because it doesn't pack well. I have all of that already packed. And sunday will either be the khaki capris or a pair of shorts, depending on the day. We leave around noonish and land around 3ish.
Then it's right back into another rolling week. Four days and then Dallas.
The weekend after that? I'm off limits. Crawling into a cave and hermitting.
I love people, I do. Well, some people. But all of this togetherness is gonna wreck me.
And that's without the mild terror involved over new venues I've never been to and not knowing who all will be there for the thing in Dallas next week.
