Random Thursday Observations

1) Your earphones are more likely to convey music to your ears if you actually plug them in to the music player.
2) I'm glad I live on the west coast and not in Upstate NY any more, judging just by the forecast I saw a few minutes ago.
3) I have the munchies
4) Steve Carlson's "Casual Smile" affects me. IN MY PANTS.
5) There will be shenanigans in April.
5a) April 12-15, will be driving to Phoenix/Tucson area
5b) April 27 & 28, will be going to Dry Creek Passport weekend.
6) I love Marriott points and free night vouchers
7) Men continue to be stupid.
Further adventures in the OkCupid experiment....so my profile indicates that I'm fairly kinky, that I'm looking for a partner or partners who know how to take control, how to be dominate and controlling in a scene, and in my answers to the myriad questions I make it quite clear what I'm really meaning. I also make it clear that I'm looking for friends with benefits or the like, not a marriage or life long relationship.
And yet, what I actually get are men who think that what I really want is someone who is gentle and affectionate. They're first contact is inevitably a letter about how they would pamper me and treat me like a princess and shower me with gifts and take care of me forever.
And there are the ones who think they're into kink. *shakes head* One of the questions is "Do you want a partner who is kinkier than you" and the responses are "Yes", "No" and "not possible". One man contacted me and wanted to talk about kinky stuff, and proceeded to tell me how the kinkiest thing he'd ever done was a weekend where he role played as a teacher (him) and student (her), so I asked if his student was naughty, if there was spanking involved, did he use a ruler. He seemed offended. Apparently it was kinky to have her dress in a short skirt and fuck her over the desk.
I responded with a scene I'd written a while back, a short little spanking scene that started with a bare hand and went to the use of a hairbrush. That was days ago. I haven't heard from him since.
I think I'm rapidly approaching the end of this experiment.
I will be in Phoenix on April 12 to see Great Gig in the Sky at the Sail Inn. We're driving down Thursday night, hope to be in Phoenix by around 2pm on Friday. Gig is at 8:30. We will likely need sleep for a few hours before the gig, however, since I'm driving I can bring my portable studio, which means I can set up appointments to do portraits on Saturday. We will likely also be driving down to Tucson Saturday evening.
For $100 you get a personal 30 minute consultation where I talk to you about what you're looking for in your portraits, get a feel for your personality, tour the location where you would like to shoot, then I will set up any lighting necessary to make the most of your location and you will have 30 minutes of dedicated shooting. I am happy to do individual portraits, family portraits, pets, etc and we can incorporate places you love, props that are a part of your daily life, toys the kids love. I can even do boudoir portraits if you like (Yes, including nudes).
I can help you build a portfolio of pictures for your website that showcase your skills and/or artistry.
Groups of 5 or more are an additional $15/person over five ($10 for pets).
What you get when it's over is: 5 professionally edited photos on CD (or via dropbox) within 7 days of the shoot, plus a single 8X10 as a bonus (make sure that you mention that you saw it here). You will get to pick the 5 before I leave your house. For an additional $25, you can choose 3 more pictures to be included. Once you have the digital photos they are yours to do with what you like, including printing.
Ready for something different than your average mall photo studio can give you?
And now...my lunch break is over...and I need to get back to being busy.
